The Shelter of Prayer
“Ascribe to the Lord, O families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength…
Bring an offering and come into his courts.
Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness, tremble before him, all earth… The Lord reigns, The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved…
He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth.” Psalm 96:7,8b,9,10,13c
Holy Father;
We bow down in praise.
YOU have establshed YOUR Reign over the earth.
We who call upon YOUR NAME and live under YOUR authority will lie down and rest, rise up and serve.
We bow down in confession.
We submit our hearts to YOU for cleansing and restoration, for search and rescue.
Sin blocks our commune with a Holy God and YOU ARE HOLY.
Strengthen us to continue.
Indeed the heat of summer is sweltering, people are fainting, hope is evaporating UNTIL we come into the Shelter of the Most High.
In YOUR PRESENCE our faith is resuscitated, our will is fortified… for healing rises in YOUR WINGS.
We bow down in renewal.
Call us to worship this day for we want to bring an offering to YOU.
Sustainer of Life, Lover of our soul, Provider of ALL, we exalt YOU with thanksgivng!
There is enough of what we need.
We will always have enough.
YOU are ENOUGH.
We bow down in expectancy.
Sovereign Lord, YOU reign, YOU judge.
We let go of impossibilities and take YOUR HAND, RULER over ALL THINGS.
Miracles abound in YOU.
Power is limitless. in YOU.
Grace is flowing in YOU.
YOUR strength opens doors that are shut.
YOUR strength moves obstacles along the way.
YOUR strength holds our lives.
In righteousness, YOUR truth will be the standard.
In it YOUR GLORY shines.
Pleasing YOU is pleasing..
How we love YOU!
How we long for more of YOU and less of us.
How we cry out for those who are still outside of YOUR Kingdom but not outside YOUR heart.
Bring them in to the shelter of prayer.
Make a way.
Make us strong.
Make us one.

I love ALL of your prayers and was just reading all of these posted…I know your comment section has been down, as I have tried to post to them earlier. So glad it is up and running again!
I was just enjoying the Forward, Preface, and Cover of your new book coming out end of Oct. or early Nov., called “The Shelter” and I cannot WAIT to read it. I know it’s is going to be another great book and I’ll be stopping to savor bits of it, just as the author of your preface stated. God truly is THE ROCK of Ages!! I love that song! I know God is in the writing of this book and has been your inspiration throughout!! God bless, Donna
