It was a dawn that would change the world– forever.
” After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance looked like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, ” Do not be afraid, for I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples. He has risen from the the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.” Matthew 28:1-7
Women who were devoted…
Women who came out of Love….
Women who came looking for Jesus.
Timing….
The right place at the right time.
Now they are women on mission.
What a wonder for their fluttering hearts!
What expectancy as they ran to tell the disciples!
What privilege to be chosen to be the Bearers of the Risen Lord!
In their rush to find their way, HE met them on the road.
Imagine the awe of encountering HIM on the road!
They “clasped his feet and worshiped him.” Matthew28:9b

When was the last time you went looking for Jesus?
Is your Stone of Circumstance too large for Him?
Can you believe He can give you a new beginning?
Do you understand that your sin can be forgiven– washed away by JESUS!

Nothing is impossible to him who believes.

Come to the Cross.
Visualize the Sacrifice.
Embrace HIS LOVE.
His Blood purchased our liberty.
A borrowed Tomb was only temporary.
Grave clothes were left behind.
HOPE was birthed.
Life was made brand new.
Possibility is ours forever– because HE AROSE!!

And it was the women who came looking for him that received the commission to tell the world!
Remember.
Think about what He has done for you when the suffocating darkness of life tries to settle in upon your soul.
It will for a time.
Disappointment, financial reversal, illness, brokenness, thwarted dreams– even death will attempt to swallow up your life
But morning comes for the one who believes in the Risen Lord!
JESUS brings break through, blessing and His beauty.
HE knows all about our lives because HE walks the path with us.
Today HE says, ” Come.”
Look for Him.
He’s looking for you.

” I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.”
HE is able.
He will keep you.
The Tomb is empty!
He Is Risen!
Come!
Easter is a state of mind.
Meditate
Trust and obey
What a morning of joy!
