Calling America to PRAY for the Gulf Coast Oil Disaster
Do not fear for I am with you; Do not be dismayed for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my right hand. Isaiah 41:10
Holy Father;
YOU are Holy.
YOU are near.
YOU are calling YOUR people to return to YOU.
As a nation collectively we have followed after our own light in the pursuit of knowledge, significance and power.
It is not enough; it will never be enough; it cannot be enough.
Sufficiency flows from following after YOU.
Jesus came for He is the light of this world.
Jesus died for the sin of this world.
Jesus lives on in the hearts of believers who have found their way to LIGHT and TRUE HOPE.
YOU knew our world would slip into darkness.
YOU knew doubt and diversion would stalk us.
YOU knew disaster would come.
It has once again.
We cry out to YOU for deliverance!!!!!!!!!!
Hear our cries for America!
We bow down and repent for stepping away from the Bible, removing prayer from schools and then deleting the relevancy of the Ten commandments from our way of life.
We bow down and repent for the millions of babies whose precious lives were snuffed because of expediency.
God have mercy upon our souls!
We bow down and repent of a morally depraved society that has substituted pornography, lawlessness, greed and covetousness for a momentary craving, an artificial high that will only breed contempt never contentment.
Forgive us, we pray!
We bow down and repent of creating an insatiable appetite for for drugs, alcohol and sexual promiscuity.
Help us to return to the God who restores wholeness!
We bow down and repent for political corruption and faithless, spineless leaders who lack courage.
Come Oh God and rescue us!
We repent…. and return.
Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask for the the good way and walk in it and you will find rest for your soul.
Jeremiah 6:16
There is a good way that leads us to rest and to assurance found within YOUR Sheltering arms.
YOU know us.
But I know where you stay and when you come and go. Isaiah 37:28
And your arms hold righteousness, justice, salvation but also… judgment.
Listen to me, my people; and give ear to Me, O my nation; for law will proceed from Me, and I will make my justice rest as a light of the peoples. My righteousness is near. My salvation has gone forth, and my arms will judge the peoples... the coastlands will wait for ME, and on my arm they will trust. Isaiah 51:4-5
Hear our pleas for a miraculous intervention to this disaster of biblical proportion!
Hear our prayer for families who have lost economic stability and are hopeless!
Hear your people repent and return to worship the God who alone can bring deliverance!.
We come and seek YOUR FACE.
We wait and trust in YOU.
YOU have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. Isaiah 25:4-5
Yea, Lord we return to YOU.
The Lord will hear when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3b
In gratitude and humility, we beseech YOUR Omnipotent Hand for this oil disaster surrounding the coastlands of the Gulf in the Name of Jesus.
We will watch for YOUR Divine Supernatural Ways in it and forever we shall proclaim, ” Surely this is our God.” Isaiah 25:9b
HEAR OUR CRIES BECAUSE OF JESUS’ SACRIFICE. IT IS IN HIS NAME WE GATHER TO PRAY.
Seek, pray, repent, trust, believe, receive.
