Calling A Praying Nation

Pray in the Spirit at all times and at every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Ephesians 6:18 NLT
Prayer is the gift of intimacy given to us to develop our relationship with a loving Father who waits for us to come to Him.
Call unto me, and I will answer and show you great and mighty things… Jeremiah 33:3
Prayer is the place where we can exchange our sin daily for God’s righteousness.
…. Setting (our) hearts and souls to seek the Lord. I Chronicles 22:19
Prayer is a Call to Watch.
Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself. The Lord will hear when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3
Is prayer a principle of your life or a just post script– a PS?
Jesus prayed fervently to His Father all the days of His earthly ministry.
It was a Divine Connection.
In the garden of Gethsemane, He anguished over the coming darkness Calvary would bring.
The weight of the world’s sin was placed upon the Sinless One and the consequence was a crushing separation from His Father at the CROSS.
My God, my God why have you forsaken me? Matthew 27:45-46
A Holy God requires a Holy Sacrifice.
Jesus’ life was broken for you and me but through His Divine Intervention, we obtained access, and the right to belong to the Family of God.
Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Hebrews 9:22
His Blood covers our sin.
It still does.
What Love the Father has shown us!
What opportunity we have to begin again!
What a privilege to love God back through prayer!
The more we practice praying the more we love praying.
Hopes and dreams for personal lives are the starting point…. but there is much more.
We learn to worship in the place of prayer as our Father cleans us up every day.
We learn the power of praying the scriptures when we have no words of our own.
We learn dependency upon His Sufficiency is the pillow of rest found in the midst of calamity which comes.
Then we learn that intercession is praying for another which is the center of the heart of God.
He cares about people.
Prayer changes life.
Father cause your people to rise up. Numbers 23:24
He is calling us to pray for our nation.
He is calling us to live alert and aware of His Sovereignty.
He is calling us to be the people who live, believe, influence and lead from the prayer closet.
Kneeling will help us to stand against anything with courage.
Can we do less than our Lord?
We cannot.
Our praying lives will affect this nation as God transforms us. first.
If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways , I will hear from heaven and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Establish prayer in your life as a principle.
Rarely does anyone remember a post script.
Join a small group in which you learn to pray with one another.
Pray in your home, in the car, on the job, in a plane — while taking a walk or writing a project, shopping or studying — in joy or crisis.
Purpose to come to God’s House and pray as one voice unto ONE WHO HEARS.
Prayer is breath.
Breathe in the Father’s plans for you today and breathe out His love for another.
Our nation needs a praying people.
Come together on National Day of Prayer May 6 and pray with someone somewhere.
It is a privilege of liberty.
It is a part of becoming MORE .
It strengthens the foundations of our faith and increases our vision for America.
It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer, and while they are speaking I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
A praying nation will not fear but will overcome.
God is calling you.
