LOVE is belonging.
God is Love
” and this is love; that we walk in obedience to his commands.”
I John 2:6
If I know I am loved by God I am secure.
I can love others. They may not be so easy to love
but neither am I. There are days I want my own way, days I am inward.
There are days I look out upon the world in joy with God’s perspective and I am outward.
The choice is in choosing to obey his commands.
“.. dear friends , let us love one another…”
I MUST express my love in action— to the waitress who is out of sorts, to the feeble old man in the mall who looks like he aches today, to the friend who calls for prayer, to a neighbor who seems unfriendly, to my husband when he is tired—– to the people God has placed on my path today.
All are Loved by Him .
Some know it and some do not.
His Love reaches out to others, DELIBERATELY through our actions and reactions.
